Skype suddenly kept crashing on my at launch.
I figured there must be something in my main-system that makes this happen, since Skype did run perfectly on my backup-system.
I simply tried disabling every .ape and extra extensions installed, and found out that WindowDragon.ape was causing Skype to crash.
I solved this by adding Skype to WindowDragon.ape's exclude list, meaning WindowDragon.ape should not load for Skype.
Skype now runs perfeclty.
So if you are having any problems, try disabling all extras installed, try Skype and start enabling those extras one-at-a-time.
Thank me for being such a good hacker!

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately I'm not so tech saavy and have been unable to find any files with .ape extensions. How exactly would I go about disabling the extras that have been installed?Sorry for my ignorance and thanks for any help.

Thank you very much: you've solved my problem for me. I don't run WindowDragon but, by adding Skype to the master exclude list of APE, I got it working. I'm guessing that either WindowShade or FruitMenu is also incompatible.Reply to This
