Would love to see software like this:

• Available as a widget
• A task bar menu which icon is the current phase
• Moonrise and moonset times
• Solar data

Will keep an eye on this one, see how it evolves...

For a similar app with menubar (instead of Dock) display, you may want to check out Moon Menu.

I've been using it for years (since OS 8.6) with no complaints - it's rock-solid and does what it says.
