Export Safari Bookmarks to a file, "Safari Bookmarks.html." Then import that file into Firefox. Works perfectly. You just have to take them from the folders and place them where you wish. It should take no more than two minutes.

No Safari Bookmark import? - gconway

The simplest way to import Safari bookmarks into any browser is to use Safari Bookmark Exporter. Even assuming you can't directly import into Firefox, which doesn't seem to be the case. In any event, if your only criteria for browser usefulness is whether or not it can ue Safari bookmarks -- why are you even looking at a browser other than Safari?
