3.0.4, though it is provided by Apple as part of AppleCare when one purchases a new iBook, does not have the driver for the mid-2005 generation of trackpads. The result is that Techtool works, but you can only move the cursor if you plug in an external mouse. Seeing as Micromat has already released a September update that's Tiger compatible, it's odd they haven't yet included the new drivers.
