Alright, not that I think iemulator is morally wrong to charge people $23.95 to get this thing, but iEmulator is based on Qemu, and QemuX is a very nicely done emulator itself:

I've no problem install Windows 98 on QemuX. Whether or not you want to pay $23.95 for something that's supposed to be free is your opinion

Why pay iEmulator when you get QemuX for free?! - lemke2
I did try QemuX however, it had many more problems than iEmulator . For me Bochs was easier to deal with than QemuX because QemuX tried to download the Qemu binaries and pretended it worked. I prefer when you can install the binaries yourself as there is less likelyhood of a problem, unless you can do that now then it is a no go for me as I don't approve of apps trying to download stuff to the Applications folder which is why I don't use my admin account for normal things (security issues).I gave up with Bochs though when I couldn't get a physical CD-ROM drive to work (DVD-ROM in my case) This is something iEmulator now does.
