Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: NO

The price is the only nice thing about this product. It's unusable for me as I need login/password authentication. NAT-Traversal is also important for me while travelling (hotel rooms, public hot spots etc.).

I suggest using VPN Tracker when you are seriously relying on VPN connectivity for business purposes. Using VPN Tracker I was able to setup the connection to our SonicWALL firewall in <5 minutes whereas with IPsecuritas I needed 10 minutes just to realize that it doesn't offer login/password authentication.

It's not IPSecuritas fauls that IPSec doesn't support passwords based login...

You could also have your Admin asked ot configure the FireWall in an IPSec only mode without L2PT authentification...
