It's good, but I notice that actual banchi and chome numbers are not included in the address results, just the prefecture, city, and ku, cho, son, gun (various districts). Inputting my own postal code correctly returned my prefecture, city, and area.
This means that having someone's postal code is not going to be enough to get down to the finer detals of, say, apartment numbers. You're going to need to know these details to complete the full address.
I'm not complaining, mind you--this is better than the nothing that preceded it, and I can't argue with the price! Thanks for making this available.

Shinyubin can't include cho or banchi information because any given zipcode may include a large number of cho's (and therefore banchi's, etc.). Shinyubin includes only the information that is guaranteed to be correct for all addresses in a given zipcode.Reply to This
