You didn't mention which computer you have in your reference. There were many desktops that didn't come with CPU thermal sensors. List your model and maybe we can tell you why it won't work.

Works fine on PowerBook G4 - Nedley

G4 imac Flat Panel 800 mhz. and has worked with other software offering temp monitoring. Nice to have a widget that would do the same thing.
