Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Two years ago I tried this program to clone a disk...and it didn't work. I figured, whatever, no program is perfect. Two years later, I have need of it. I format the target disk, fix permisisons, and attempt to clone. It copies and copies...then stops, while showing "Copying Users..." I did this twice, and it just stops, twice. The only thing I can think is, I am using OS X in Japanese mode and have some Japanese files, which I thought was an issue several years ago. Could it still be causing problems???

I've used it in the past with success. I haven't tried it lately but it hasn't been updated in some time and I've been so taken with Super Duper that I've switched to that. They're similar but Super Duper has more options and is actively being developed.

You are kidding, right? CCC is free and does what it's supposed to do. SuperDuper is $20 and last I heard, it had some issues with Tiger.
