i checked baytex out cause i've decided to learn how to dj, basically beat match. since is don't have cash to buy decks and a mixer i decided to go the laptop method. i like the layout of this baytex party, it's not as intimidating as say dj1800, but it won't play any of the tracks i downloaded off itunes. i can get it to play my mp3s that i ripped off cds. i've emailed the developer, but haven't had a response. i'd like to use this app due to the friendlier interface, but dj1800 has better itunes intergration as it'll play any track in my library.

I bought Dj 1800 and found out the hard way that if you have a big music library that it wasn't the ticket. It would take up to 30 minutes to load. If you want to dj, and use a laptop, MEGASEG might be the better choice. I spent the extra money and it hasn't let me down. The programmer also answered any questions I had in a very short time. Dj1800 still hasn't wrote me back and it was a year ago.Friday, April 06 2007 @ 06:52 AM PDT
