Still Problems Amended

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: NO

The previous post was error. I was trying to review 3.4.2.

I miss the classic Apple Menu. I like the features available on this, but wish the program had fewer problems. Contrary to what Unsanity says, I do notice the slowdown in launching applications. Also, the application menu icon feature is very buggy. My iMac G5 performance is just generally better and snappier without FruitMenu installed. Too bad I am having to go back to using the anemic Apple Dock.

Still Problems Amended - Zeds Dead

iGreg, try Proteron's MaxMenus. It's hella expensive compared to FruitMenu, but rock solid and it supports pretty much as many menus as you want (in each corner of the screen, plus you can make modifier-keyed menus too, such as cmd-click, etc). Been using it since 10.2 and love it.
