I would stick with Firefox or Shiira. Not a user friendly browser. Too many toolbars, and too complicated to configure properly. If I can't figure out how to set up bookmarks in a toolbar, then why bother with the browser...

and the above comment holds even for Shiira, which is basically a better recast of Safari. However, once Shiira becomes more stable I could see that being the best of the bunch.Wednesday, September 21 2005 @ 07:36 AM PDT

It's a little different, that's all. It is currently performing much better than any other browser. Giving such a low rating purely because you can't be bothered to spend one or two minutes customizing its look to suit what you are used to is just plain stupid.Wednesday, September 21 2005 @ 11:53 AM PDT

Well, that's exactly why I wrote in my review "...There are some things that take some getting used to..." No, Opera isn't Safari or Firefox; it's Opera. The fact that it works slightly different than browsers with which you have experience doesn't necessarily mean that it is not user friendly. I took a couple of minutes to explore its design and easily incorporated all of my bookmarks into the toolbar. In fact, it's much MORE customizable than Safari, which makes it much more user friendly in my opinion. In the end, it's simply a good thing that the choices are robust for Mac browsing!
