first off i love mplayer and vlc. mine and alot of others these our are main video players cause well ya know quicktime isnt that good except and dont get me started on windoze media player/real player(good interface but...how many .rm files do you have. Anyways one player plays files ok one doesnt at all. this new version of mplayer doesnt want to play vids with subtitles, the old version does but the video is choppy as hell. the sound for some videos is like a whisper while others im goin deaf. An idea for someone why dont the mplayer folks and vlc folks hook up and make a player to end all players that plays everthing just a suggestion/thought. its just a pain using one player for one movie and another player for another movie. Or why doesnt someone with developing skills use the code and make a combination. if i could i would.
