I like the concept of iLyric a lot, and would love to be able to point a program at my 36k+ songs in iTunes, and basically tell it "update all songs with lyrics, if available".

iLyric is a good start towards this, but it still needs work. For example, when updating iTunes, it's inserting the verbiage "Click to play", which is hyperlinked text in iLyric, but it just plain text as part of the songs lyrics. Obviously no songs begin with the verse "Click to play".

Another problem with it is that it's not too intuitive... For example, Sync with iTunes will download all of the songs in iTunes, allowing you select all, some, or none afterwards, but it's not immediately apparent that after finding lyrics, one has to click this button again, which will then sync any changes, in either direction (iLyric to iTunes, or iTunes to iLyric).

But this is a great start, and is remarkably fast - I hope the developer continues to develop this, as it shows great promise.

Now if someone would just come up with an automatic bpm scanner which will update iTunes...

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Good call on the "Click to Play", I will fix that.

Also, adding more search sites is not a problem. However, getting the sites to agree to let my program search them is another story. If there is a site that you would like to see iLyric search, get them to give the ok and I will add them.
