Call me crazy, but I don't see how anybody could give this application 5 stars. I'm just revisiting Dungeons and Dragons after over 15 years away from it (as my kids are getting old enough and interested), and thought I'd give this program a try.
This program was written by people who obviously know nothing about Apple's human interface guidelines; the interface is nightmarishly childish.
The functionality appears to be solid and well-considered, but the interface is so amateurish that it hardly feels like a Mac application. When I want to use ugly programs, I use windows, so sorry - this went straight to the trash and I'm sticking with pen and paper for the time being.

Changes on the way - macmage
These are valid points (perhaps a bit harsh, though). The floating windows were originally intended to give flexibility to those with small displays. After asking CharSys d20's registered users their opinions, about 75% liked the creation interface as is. Since 25% did not, the next version will have a choice of three different character creation interfaces.Reply to This
