This is a fun game but it is frustrating in that for high-low games, the low hand is frequently wrongly calculated. It is particularly bad if wild cards are involved. I have emailed the folks at scenario.com but they just said that their program works fine. Well it does most of the time but try of few games of seven-card stud high-low, low hole-card wild and you will see that low hands are not done right. For example, I had this had
down cards: 6 6, up cards: 4 K 2 7 down card: 9
so, the sixes are wild, making the best low hand to be made a seven high (7432A). HOWEVER, the program said I had a nine high (9742A). I lost to an eight high even though I had a better hand.
Second example seven card stud high-low (no wild cards)
9-6-5-4-3-2-A
So, I had a 6-high straight for high and a 6-4-3-2-A for low (the very best low hand possible). HOWEVER, the program said I had a 5-high straight for low. A straight is not a very good low hand so I lost again.
VERY FRUSTATING

I'm investigating this issue, but please understand that this does NOT affect the 101 games that ship with iPoker. Not at all. Yours is a very custom game (almost a "test case") that no one else really plays and one that you'll not find in any poker book. With so many thousands of possible permutations to test, I do appreciate reports like this when sent directly to me.Reply to This
