Venting - Updates versus upgrades

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: tk.web Wednesday, September 14 2005 @ 05:44 PM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

So what happened to version 9.0.3 - 9.9? From the what's new section of the product detail, it appears that there are mostly improvements to the existing feature set of these products — not new features. It begs the question, should these improvements have been part of an update out of respect to a loyal customer base? More and more, software companies tagging new versions as upgrades and these versions offer very little over the preceeding version.

JPEG compression is not new feature? - Ilgaz

Let me say as a deluxe user. JPEG compression really works and really compresses with 30% ratio.

Speed enhancement is also true.
