The LOD 1.11b patch - availiable from the same link above, still takes my 10.4.2 box down. It pays for a while then the audio stops and it freezes. Then it the audio pays a bit more but it's hung. When the audoi finally dies entirey it's reboot time. I'm going to try a fresh install using the OS X installer from their site and see if I can''t get this puppy to work.
