Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: YES

Some commands that CLIX can run (e.g. .DS_Store cleaning) are prefixed with "find /" which can result in an unwanted side effect of traversing network mounted filesystems. Maybe the developer can add versions of those commands that behave less dramatically (e.g. limited to specified volumes)?

overzealous actions - Kugo

That's a good point. But if you look on your Edit menu, you will see the command 'Add...'.

The idea is YOU make it.

What's offered in _default is only to point you in the right direction - to whet your appetite. The table's been set, the food's been served - you want someone to spoonfeed you too?

For that matter, find probably has switches to not traverse network and symbolic links.

It's 'man find' from the command line. You know, that app called 'Terminal' that comes with your Apple operating system.
