Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: YES

Since no one's mentioned it yet ...

Popcorn's functionality has been added to Toast 7. I don't know yet if Roxio intends to continue supporting Popcorn as a separate product, but hope they do since it's often useful to run it and Toast simultaneously. Also not sure if there's any difference between Popcorn 1.0.3 and what's been merged into Toast 7.

Toast 7 - svetgladv

Can I have One example where you'd run the two concurrently?

concurrent use - sjk

One example:

Compress a VIDEO_TS folder with Popcorn (saving as a disk image) while burning a DVD with Toast.

Toast 7 - joemazza_dotmac

I spoke to Roxio yesterday before buying Popcorn about this very question... I didn't want to buy Toast, just Popcorn and they said it will continue as a product even though it's now included in Toast.

Popcorn "included in toast" - thomasdeniau

That's not really true. Toast can't make custom selections when backing up a DVD (some soundtracks but not others, etc.)
