Sound isn't loud enough

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Since 2 or 3 last versions, even with the sound set to max (Imac G5 + mplayer), it is not loud enough.

I've not any problme with VLC or any other software.

What can I do please ? Thanks !
