It won't connect to my databases - thebroz

I'm not surprised. This new version doesn't seem to come with any JDBC drivers, or any instructions on how to get them. It doesn't tell you how to install them if you do get them.
It's a beta...
If you want to use this beta, I'd recommend downloading the current released version and use the JDBC drivers that come with it.
Note that if you launch the version 1 SQLGrinder, it will generate a prefs file. That prefs file will prevent the NEW version from launching. you'll have to dig in and delete it.
This release is a beta... They could do a better job of documenting...

It won't connect to my databases - Advenio

That's not actually true. From the JDBC product page: "SQLGrinder comes bundled with drivers for FrontBase, MySQL, OpenBase SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and Sybase." True, the documentation isn't done, so it's not stated clearly everywhere, but that statement isn't correct.

lyrabas, commenting here that the beta won't connect doesn't help you get your problems solved, andd doesn't help us fix the problem. Please use the "Send Feedback" menu item in the Help menu to send us your configuration so that we can track down the problem. We're working through beta connection issues as people report them. There are a myriad of configurations, and most work, but some don't and the only way we can make all of them work is if they are reported to us. Thanks!
