I'd like to make a VCD with a DIVX movie, but D-Vision does not accept the divx file...

I don't understand why because it is possible to cut avi files with the tools.

Is that normal ?

DIVX Import impossible ? - PAQUOT_Ludovic

You can import Divx but in the adapted tool. Click on the button 'Tools' and choose 'Re-Encoding .avi and .mpg'.

But if you want create a VCD, you can't use D-Vision. D-Vision encode in Divx/Xvid/h264 but not in VCD.
