I didn't believe the reviews and downloaded this. "It can't be that bad" I figured. I was wrong, the reviews are right. The intereface for iTimer is nearly incomprehensible.
Let's say I want to create a new timer. Where is the "New" button or menu item? There is none. Show me another Mac application that doesn't have a "New" selection.
And the "Stop" pane...why does it even exist? There is no discernable reason why the Stop button is not always visible instead of being hidden in its own pane, all by itself.
"Milestone"? What the heck does that mean? Yes, as an English major I know what the word means, but it doesn't seem to fit this context. How about changing that to "Event" or something a bit more clear?
Next, consider that, like a book, the first thing a user looks at in any given window is the upper left corner. What's in the upper left of the iTimer window? A couple of lonely colons with nothing to separate. How hard would it be to turn these off unless a timer is actually running?
It's the little things that separate a polished app from a kludge. I hope the next revision has these (and other) little things cleaned up.
