The new version is as stable and solid as earlier versions, and the new features are very useful. I especially like the new security and screen-blaking options. Timbuktu just keeps getting better each release. I've used the free VNC, and while you can't beat its price, Timbuktu is so much faster and more stable that it is worth paying for if you need remote control to support users are manager a server.
