similar here - invisible LimeWireWin exe - balancedview

Similar here, I have noticed in the last several versions that there is a LimeWireWin4.x.x.exe in the invisible folder: ~/Library/Preferences/LimeWire/.NetworkShare

But, I do not think we are being 'hijacked'. It has been there for several versions (at least, maybe longer...). My original guess was that it was part of the Limewire engine - a generic module which they named exe... but I don't really know.
This would be a good question to post to the LimeWire forums.

Also, if you take a look at your LimeWire 'Monitor' tab, you can see what is being uploaded from your machine, that is, what you have indicated is shareable. And never have i seen the limewire exe being shared out.
