But no real improvements apparent either. Shame it doesn't render the Acid2 test properly though - I assumed that would be in.

I wasn't aware any browser passed the Acid 2 test yet. But Safari is very close. The AT2 smiley looks better with Safari on Mac than anything on my PC. And Safari now renders far quicker on my Dual 1.42 G4 than Mozilla Firefox does on my AMD 64X2 4600+ with an nVidia GeForce7800 GTX... Go figure!

Download NightShift and try out the latest WebKit build. Unless they've taken steps back since the last time I used it, it passes the Acid 2 test. Not sure why they haven't rolled this into Safari yet.
