I fixed the problem this update is supposed to solve simply by trashing the preferences file. I ran the update, naively thinking it would prevent future problems. Now DVD Player doesn't play any DVDs at all. VLC plays them just fine.

On my Mac also, DVD Player does not play DVD movies anymore, Since I installed System Updfate 10.4.10. Does some know how to fix this ??? (G5 with Apple Superdrive)
