Existing users, 
I love Tinker Tool. I've used it since OS X 10.1.
I was excited to see the new feature of eliminating the .DS_store files on network volumns. Unfortuntly it dosn't seem to be working for me :-(
NTFS volumn being shared by an XP SP2 machine.
No matter what I do the DS_Stores still get written to the volumn. (Yes I restarted the finder, heck just to be sure I even tried rebooting)
In any case if no one else is having this issue it must be something on my side.

I download TinkerTool yesterday to try to emulate IE, and now I have an annoying .DS_store open in my desktop, I have also a stupid "superdrive" also open and impossible to close or get rid of them. I tried to delete Tinkertool but those things are still there... what can I do to get rid of it?Thanks
