How do I get this off my machine?

It doesn't work correctly. Bugs, warnings, errors, etc. There's no uninstaller and I know it probably scattered files *everywhere*.

Developers who don't provide uninstallers should be deported, I swear.

I believe you drag the application to the Trash.

To remove the clamav engine, double-click the REMOVE_engine.command file located on the image file in the Documentation & Extras folder. This information is lacking in the ReadMe.rtfd.
