Existing users, 
This link for the „UDF Volume Reader” Version 7.1.0.95 bring us to the following Roxio's website:
http://www.roxio.com/en/support/ecdc/software_updatesv4_2.jhtml
The downloaded file cannot be installed on a PC without Easy CD Creator, even though it is a.o. written „... free download for the convenience of users who do not own Roxio software”.
When <updateudfreader_7.exe> is run, following error message will pop-up:
„The Roxio UdfReader has not been detected”, nothing else happens.
I know Roxio does not provide support to this software, but a total mistake like that deserve well a correction.

I think I have found an answer!!! I was able to download the UDF VOLUME READER 7.1.0.95 from this site. Although I haven't installed it yet, the link to the download is valid! Good luck!!!

I have installed EMC9 Suite and am having the same problem with the UDF Reader. Roxio has not responded to any requests for help in over 3 weeks. I keep getting error messages saying: "The system has recovered from a serious error." When I hit "Send Report" I get a message stating "This problem was caused by Roxio's UDF Reader (udfreadr.sys)...A solution is available that will solve this problem...Go to the Roxio web site.I get the download everyone mentioned above and the same message when I try to install it.

Your note was posted 8/2005 but apparently no one reads the comments or bothered to correct the problem as I just downloaded the file and received exact same results!Total bummer.
