I love this product and have used earlier versions without problem for more than a year. The developer's generosity in sharing with the community is wonderful and I recommend only SpyBot for spyware/adware protection. xoxox for the developer!
I recently downloaded the current version (1.4.03) and installed it on several systems - XP and XP Home - and in all 3 cases the program installs as expected, updates, immunizes but will not successfully "Check for problems" - the program suddenly quits out on each of the machines when the check is started.
Looking forward to an update!

I have the same problem here on five different machines. It has been since April since this has been updated, and I know I have downloaded it and used it since then. I am wondering if it was a recent Windows update that broke Spybot. I too am looking forward to an update. This is a great product, but not so great when it can't do it's job!Reply to This
