upon a deeper look (since it is not made clear) I am guessing this is to aid in taking a shot of the entire page --- meaning the parts that don't appear unless you scroll. If the page is longer then the window then part will be cut off.
simple fix is use the print command and save as pdf it will save everything you see on screen as you see it including the parts you would need to scroll to see.
so I still consider this useless

how about another deeper look? - dozx
not for me... not sure how you are saving your pdf or what you changed but i get one long pdf of the page. And I save many pages. I still can't see a use for this since it's all built into the system.Tuesday, August 16 2005 @ 12:28 AM PDT

1. the print-version of webpages does not always (never?) look like the screen-version.2. if the webpage is longer than one printed page, printing + saving it as pdf will still break the webpage up in printpages.
the only useless thing here is your comment.
