on a 15" tiBook 1GHz running internal + external display, on charger, external mouse & keyboard; nothing relevant in the logs except the common "Warning: ATSUSetFontFallbacks has been deprecated"

Looks like your system does not return the expected values. Please open a "Terminal" and post me a "pmset -g"

In addition the application should work as long as both checkboxes in the "Preferences" are _disabled_ .
