Could you good VersionTracker folks put stuff like this in English, or at least say "You need to download this because ..." or "Don't worry about this unless ..." I haven't a clue what this is and whether to muck up my system with it.
Thanks.

Path: /Volumes/G4 350 Backup/System/Library/Extensions/ATTOExpressPCIPlus.kext
What's New in This Version
Driver version 3.20 is a maintenance release of the ExpressPCI 'plus' driver with advanced OS X Panther support. For peak performance, ATTO recommends using this driver with your ExpressPCI UL3D/UL3S host adapter when using OS X Panther. This release, when used with the latest ATTO Configuration Tool utility version, includes support for dynamic SCSI bus rescan, allowing users to add and remove devices from the bus without a system reboot. The driver release read me file contains instructions on installing and using this driver release. You should use the latest version of the ATTO Configuration Tool and UL3D/UL3S flash file to update the adapter prior to installing the driver update.

Why to update every kext - Stuart Leitch
I update every kext whether I think I need it or not. Because:my G4 450 was having lots of •kernel panics•, sometimes six in a row. I almost gave up and bought a new Mac. A smart tech figured out that it might be a kext problem. I didn't know about them, but now I always update them.
(So, did the kernel panics stop? Yes, but they always were intermittent. I'd have a dozen in a day, then none for weeks. So I'm just being careful here with kext files.)
