After upgrading, Peak 5.0 arrived and it now requires the use of a USB dongle, or it will not launch. I do not recall seeing this on their site.
Costly upgrade and now much less convenient to use.

Now Requires a Dongle - richter_s
That sounds not good at all! I will watch some days for further comments and then I will decide what to do: Peak 5 upgrade or new Apple Soundtrack ( I hope I can use all my Waves plugins!). The only dongle I had to use is many years ago in the >>early<< days of Waves plugins. Thanks to Waves, no more dongles! Why should I use a dongle again? One has to buy a new dongle with Apple Intel machines next year?Tuesday, August 16 2005 @ 10:09 PM PDT

I have purchased several upgrades of Bias Peak. The requirement of a dongle means that I will be switching to another product, probably Apple Soundtrack Pro.Reply to This
