Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

My eyes were bleeding from the blaring whites of the Dell 2405. A good looking, inexpenesive monitor - but one that is brighter than the sun.

This app literally saved me from having to return the monitor because it enabled me to turn down the whites (hint hold command down to turn them down all at once.

I love the fact that I can dock the app and therefor easily turn the correction on and off. I tried many calibration tools, but nothing would let me just get the whites down to a viewable area. I hope other mac users with Dell monitors discover this application. Thanks.

M,

As a DELL 2005FPW owner, all you have to do is go into the monitor's OSD, and manually reduce RGB values (in equal amounts), this will decrease the overall brightness of the monitor without having to skew your gamma to the point where colors aren't properly displayed (images & video too dark).
