Intuit is an amazingly messed up company! They offer a rebate to begin the day after they actually allow users to purchase and download. The response from Intuit when I asked about getting the rebate:
Dear Andrew Rodney: Rebate ID/Tracking number: XXXXXXX
Thank you for contacting Intuit Inc.'s rebate processing center.
In order to be eligible for the Quicken® 2006 rebate, you must have
purchased the product on or after 08/02/05. Unfortunately, purchases
made before that date do not qualify for the rebate.
We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and
appreciate your participation in this promotion. If you have any
further questions, please contact us at intuit@intuitrebates.com.
Sincerely,
Laura

Fine, I plan to return the product for a FULL refund. They could have actually had a loyal customer and made $39.99 ($20 off my $59.00) but they will get nothing now! I’ll go back to Quicken 2005. What are these guys thinking?
