The installer happily installed the app in it's folder into the system Applications folder. But the app won't run - it whinges that it has to be in it's folder in the Apps folder - it is. This is supposedly a bug fixed with this version.

OK - sussed the problem:1) The app not running isn't a "bug fixed" in this version
2) You have to have MAMP installed in the first place - the updater doesn't check if it is installed.
I dumped the update, installed the full version from the Developer's website and it works fine now. Perhaps the update installer should check if the app is actually installed first?
