I had been using VPN Tracker for about a year. Four colleagues were also using it up until 6 months ago when three of them no longer needed it. I had wished to upgrade to version 4 for just the 2 of us who were still using it, but Equinux refused to let us purchase only 2 upgrades and said that we only had the option of upgrading ALL 5 versions at once, or none at all. Of course, it would have been an absolute waste to spend all that money on 5 upgrades if we only needed 2...it was already way too expensive for just 1. A friend then introduced me to IPSecuritas which is FREE. WOW!!! I downloaded this, tried it out and have not used VPN Tracker again since. It is a GREAT program and I HIGHLY recommend it!! It is almost exactly the same as VPN Tracker in setup, and of course has exactly the same function as VPN Tracker. HOWEVER, AFAIK it works only in Tiger 10.4.1 and up.

VPNTracker is indeed way overpriced (especially for the Pro version which I need) and their upgrade pricing policy is atrocious (4.0 was released two weeks after I upgraded to version 3 and they would not give a price break if I then upgraded to 4) but it took only a couple of minutes to get my Mac connected to our company's Symantec Enterprise Firewall/VPN, and 3 still does what I need it to do even in Tiger.I tried IPSecuritas when I upgraded to Tiger (fearing - as we all were informed - that VPNTracker 3 simply would not work with 10.4.x) and I could not get it to work even with the reasonable help of our Firewall's manager.
