Sometimes the information about a particular download never loads (the information that appears in the bottom pane when you click on an Application name in the Watch List). The short one-line description appears, the path appears, and it says "Loading information..." but the information never loads.

Usually the information contains a description of what's changed/new, so I feel this is an important bug to fix. I assume it's not just me, because I've experienced this on both my home and work computers, and across multiple OS installs/reinstalls. I have a T1 connection at work, and a dial-up at home.

Oddly, this affects only certain programs, and once the program version changes, the information may appear again. For example, right now I cannot get a description of the current version of ArtRage. If I click the app below that, it gives me the description. Clicking back on ArtRage again has no effect. (If I right-click in the information pane, an option "Reload" appears, but if I click that, the user home page appears in that space -- Whoa! -- and not the application description.)

Sometimes the information never loads - mprewitt99

At the moment, information for the following programs does not appear: FileWrangler, FontDoc, Freefall, iTattle, MySQL Administrator, Old Glory.saver, PHP Studio, Printer Setup Repair, Skype, SQL4X Manager J, SQL4X Viewer, ThinkGeek LED Clock.saver. These are culled from the programs currently reported as out of date; I didn't check any of the others, there are too many (although they also suffer from the same issue, for example, the program Acquisition does not currently display a description). There are currently 74 programs reported as out of date on my system, so the ones not displaying the full info are about 1 out of 6 on average.

Sometimes the information never loads - Pseudo K

I am looking at my list of Installed Software which list all of 10 itmes now. Of those 4 are still Loading Information after 10 minutes. They are Gizmo Project, KoTOR, OpenGL Extension Viewer and DoppleViewer.wdgt. I should note that Gizmo and OpenGL both list updates as being needed yet I have downloaded and installed both several times now and they are still showing as the old version. In other words the updates aren't really pointing to updated files.
I should also note that double clicking on the icon of the file in the Installed Software list WILL take you to the corresponding VT page.
