Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

I was hesitant to try this after a previous post referred to Barquee being a Synergy knockoff, but I'm glad I came back and downloaded it. The fact it stays in ONLY my menu bar is great. Simple and out-of-the-way.

I like being able to choose which type of info and the order it presents (song, artist, rating, playlist, etc). Especially nice is being able to expand the width to fill my menu bar's empty space. Good Hotkey selection and I can customize the app with any color or font.

What needs improvement is changing preferences. It demands using a "control-click" on the control buttons which is a tiny area on my Cinema Display. I hit the song info area too many times and it would advance the song instead.
The available themes are a bit ordinary and sparse, although I can see some cool things being done with the menu bar. Like the way the old Mint Audio had a small visualizer attached to it's control bar.
