can't specify download link

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

Since Tiger, Safari no longer has the ability to specify where a download should go. I used to be able to right+click on a link and there was a contextual menu option to specify where the target file should go.

Yet prior to version 2, Safari had that funtionality .. what's going on with Apple?

Removing functionality is a first... I thought developers added functionality as a product matured...

*sigh*

can't specify download link - lushbudget`

THIS is not true! You can still designate a download target!! All you have to do is Right Click or Control click on the download link, then press OPTION, which will change the Contextual Menu to read "Download Linked File As..." instead of "Download Liniked File" Apple has NOT removed any functionality!

And that is the truth!
