I have installed and reinstalled Doom 3 and 1.3 Updater, but keep having a problem with a mouse pointer in the center of the screen (over menus and gameplay etc). Very annoying. Only shows up after the 1.3 Update.

ya, the problem with the cursor showing up on your screen is almost always associated with having the divx quicktime component installed.Make sure you remove it when playing. Also, if you purchase and install Roxio Toast 7 it installs a version of divx that does NOT cause the cursor to appear. But that's just my experience.

Try moving the DivX 5.component out of your Library/QuickTime folder when playing.Reply to This
