I will not be resubscribing to Version Tracker Pro. I have many issues with it, but today was the final straw. Take a look at this screenshot.

VersionTracker Pro tells me that I have VersionTracker Pro version 1.5 installed and that 1.5.1 is available. Now look at the title bar of the window. I AM running version 1.5.1. VersionTracker can't even properly track its own software! And also, VersionTracker says that I am running 1.0.5 of Firefox. Well, no. Actually I am running version 1.0.4 and need to upgrade to 1.0.5, but VersionTracker Pro isn't any help letting me know that. Again this is just one example of many problems, but I am not going to waste any more time here. caveat emptor

Hi,I must say that I too will not be renewing my subscription. I had exactly the problems that Tinjaw mentions above. Your reply that the ver 3.51 is a minor update is disingenuous in the extreme. This is exactly what your software's job is to do, evaluate correctly the version of software that are installed and tell you in a timely manner when an update is available.
That you don't think it's important to accurately flag your own software's version is pretty amazing. Equally amazing that one of the most recently talked about and widely used software "Mozilla Firefox" can be incorrectly identified as to its Version. What hope of the proliferation of software that is not used as extensively?
Sorry the above is an indictment of your software and Database administration.
You will certainly not be getting my hard-earned money again.

Your Issues Have Been Fixed - llin
As you indicated your firefox 1.0.4 my version was displayed wrong. We are in the process of improving the backend content tools. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the error. We have just fixed for you.VTPro 3.5.1 is a minor update version of 3.5. We can argue there is no problem displaying it as 3.5. However, since you as a customer raise an issue on that, we have just made it display 3.5.1 in the My Version field.
If you reset your watch list and rescan, you should get a proper My Version for the items you mentioned. If you still see any error, please contact me (llin@techtracker.com) immediately. If you see other issues, you can use VTPro's reporting feature. We'll look into it and fix it for you as soon as possible.
