An error while updating - mpena
Hi thereI was getting that same error with -43 at the end.
I re-installed Painter IX (v9.0) from the CD and then run the updater straight after and it worked. I have the feeling that the updater doesn't like working on a customized version of the program. I saved my custom settings in another folder before re-installing, and now I've dropped them back in. (We'll see how that works!)
Regards

An error while updating - rspress
Yes, I did as well. It hits a file called box.id then errors out on this file. I have downloaded the file a couple of times and tried running the update several different times. No go.Reply to This
