Has anyone tried this with an Aria Extreme PCI card yet? - outer

Yeah, although I'm still using 10.3.9 - and this update (and my incompetence) seems to have fried my Aria Extreme 54g card. No luck so far, even after using the "10.3 or earlier" updater which appeared after the initial "one size fits all" updater. Thanks Apple indeed.

Not me, but somebody earlier said after installing all third party cards weren't recognized.

I've installed the (appropriate version) update on a G4 with 10.4.2 and a G3 with 10.3.9 both with Aria Extreme PCI cards and both are working fine.

I've re-insatlled the 10.3.9 version of AirPort 4.2, and with a new S@nn@t Arias extreme 802.11g PCMCIA card, it continues to work great with both my AP Extreme BS (v5.6) and my AP Express WDS (v6.2) I've not dared to try to set either or both of them up as WPA2 only or WPA/WPA2 for fear of frying my new card.
