Rendering glitches

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

Shiira 1.1 (not just for Tiger anymore!) has a few rendering glitches which it shares with Safari.

E.g., it doesn't properly draw Michelle Wie's match tree at http://www.usapl.org/scoring/reversetree.html

Camino 0.9.1+ (nightly) and MSIE 5.2.3 do it right.

Rendering glitches - mmmgood

The code for that page is absolutely atrocious, I'm surprised that anything renders it correctly.

Rendering glitches - grikdog

It can't be too difficult to render correctly. MS Internet Explorer 5.2.3 hasn't been updated for years, doesn't complain about picky standards, and renders the page absolutely spot on. So, interestingly enough, does Camino.

Rendering glitches - APGiuliano

One man's trash is another's treasure.... Seems only WebKit based browsers render mikesradioworld.com (a personal fav of mine) properly while Camino, Firefox and Mozilla do not... Never a front without a back nor an inside without an outside...
