I've used the app through OS X 10.3.x and it was great. Haven't tried it in Tiger yet until today. Doesn't seem to work under 10.4.2. Left it sitting for 3 hours and it never finished "searching". Is there any other way to get rid of the localization files?

Yes : the latest version of Macaroni (not a joke !) does it automatically and periodically
