Existing users, 
my mac g5 DOES NO LONGER START with the update installed.
thanks apple for all the great software you produced the last years call 'Mac-OS X'.
The next computer will have "DELL" on it's front and Microsoft XP Pro installed... it's cheaper than this apple beta software and i know there're troubles around the corner!

Hi! For the successful updater - any tips? I don't have ANYTHING fancy installed as I'm not a tech whiz. Just the basics not a lot of extra software (only adobe elements) or wigits ...Thx for help.

Please buy a PC and enjoy life!I just updated two Macs (iBook and Power Mac G5) without any problems... so please stop blaming Apple, I guess you just made a mess of your (system) configuration - like most PC users like to do - and something has gone wrong.
Maybe you're just born to use a Windows PC.
